Earlier this year on the *fadedRED Embolden Podcast we discussed The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman, there is a free assessment to understand your love language.

Why take the test? Because once you understand how you receive love, it will be easier to communicate what you need from your partner/spouse. If you are in a relationship, this is a great thing to do together. Take the quiz, share your results, and make a date night out of understanding how you prefer to be loved (which will be exactly the way you give love). Then take some time and talk about what that looks like in reality.

Now is a great time to learn about the five love languages. If you don't have that type of someone special in your life right now, then ask your parents, or a BFF to do this with you. And if you are poo-pooing this idea, then you may need to find out why you are afraid of showing or receiving love because we were all made to love and be loved.
