What all of these industries have in common is teamwork. They all are built on people with various talents, gifts, abilities, and brains to be successful.

For example, there have to be people who have a heart for survivor care to provide direct assistance to those who have escaped from trafficking situations. It's also important to have attorneys and policy makers who can protect survivors in a court of law. Furthermore, ending modern day slavery depends on those who have a talent for mobilizing people who are also passionate about helping others, so that this vital work can continue on.

On a more personal level, having a team provides a support system for the difficult days. Working against human trafficking can be so incredibly heavy. We can burn out so easily if we don't have other people to lean on who can help us get through the "tough stuff." And when it comes to human trafficking, there are sure to be many tough days. For all of these reasons, it is imperative that those working to end human trafficking work alongside each other, support each other, and motivate each other through it all.
